ABOUT Kirstine Keel

Guiding Others From Sadness to Serenity

Meet Kirstine Keel

Kirstine Keel is a Resilience Coach, former licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (CMHC) and multiple-subject educator devoted to helping individuals and families find light in life’s most difficult moments.

As the daughter of Howard Keel, she was raised in a world of creativity and storytelling gifts she now uses to inspire healing, connection, and hope.

Her work is deeply personal. Kirstine has experienced childhood trauma, divorce, and the heartbreaking loss of her four sons, along with the profound challenges of addiction, suicide, and complex grief. These experiences, combined with her professional background, allow her to offer a compassionate and deeply understanding space for others walking similar paths.

Through her faith and her work, Kirstine gently guides others from sadness to serenity. Helping each person rediscover the light within and to remember every heart deserves light.

Why You Deserve Light Was Created

I created You Deserve Light after experiencing profound personal loss and witnessing how easily grief, fear, and life’s challenges can leave people feeling alone and overwhelmed. As a former counselor, educator, and mother who has walked through unimaginable heartbreak, I discovered that healing is not about returning to who we once were it is about transforming into who we are meant to become.

You Deserve Light was born from the belief that every person, no matter their circumstances, deserves hope, compassion, and the opportunity to heal. My desire is to provide a gentle place where individuals can find encouragement, deepen their relationship with God, develop practical tools for resilience, and remember that even in the darkest moments, light is still available.
